Every culture, religion, and/or country, has a different way to appreciate the human hair, but what’s common is that they all think of the hair as a precious gift, that should be taken care of and protected just as much as any other part of our body.Muslim traditions suggest women to cover their hair as well as other body parts, Allah’s words are that women should be modest and cover their beauties from non-family members.For Jewish traditions covering the head in temple is a tradition as a sign of respect to god.In Christian traditions it was also very common to think not to wear hats or head scarves when attending church was very vain, which is a sin. In some Chinese ethnic minorities, hair is sacred, some traditions forbid women to cut their hair because hair is a part of our body, and cutting their hair would mean they are cutting an important part of their body.Now it’s obvious how important human hair is for people all over the world. Many of us have at some point experienced some hair related illness like dandruff probably the most common one. Yes, I said illness. For some of us this can be one of the most embarrassing conditions, but the good new is that doctors already identified what causes it, as well as all the different natural and chemical treatments to prevent it and cure it when you already have this condition.Here are a few facts about dandruff that you should know:FACT 1: Dandruff is a chronic condition that can almost always be controlled.FACT 2: Dandruff treatment might take a little patience and persistence.FACT 3: Probably the best way to get rid of this condition is to try one of several over-the-counter specialty shampoos. And some times apart from those factors, this dermatitis condition can be inherited.FACT 5: Some good ways to prevent this illness is by avoiding overuse of hair sprays, gels and coloring products, as well as tight hats and head scarves.FACT 6: The most common signs and symptoms of dandruff are: white flakes of dead skin that dot your hair and shoulders as well as an itchy, scaling or oily scalp.I hope this few facts can help you identify if you have this condition. As I said before, the good news is that with all the new products going out at the market every day, it’s getting easier to prevent and cure the symptoms of dandruff. And even if you might think this is a very embarrassing condition, you should know that dandruff is an illness, a medical condition that can be cured and it cant be a motive of embarrassment.
