Yoga, is it for you?

yoga_ Yoga aims at uniting the mind, body and spirit. It is viewed that the mind and body are one and by tuning one both will find harmony and heal.It makes you more flexible and promotes relaxation in any stressful area. It creates a toned, flexible, and strong body. With Yoga, you become more aware of your body’s posture, alignment, and the way your body moves.  The main reason people begin yoga is to feel fitter and have more energy.

     Yoga is a great exercise that will make you look and feel better than you have before. It has many positive effects for the physical and mental. Some benefits of yoga are you stay engaged (not bored), lowers cholesterol, maintains a balanced metabolism, memory improves, balance improves, pain decreases, weight normalizes, and it raises your energy level. Can’t get much better than that! All this and you don’t have to run on a treadmill for an hour, huh, who would have thought Day dreaming. People of all ages can practice yoga, because it’s low impact even seniors can give it a try. With all this, plus a ton more benefits, it’s no wonder you can find yoga in almost every city and gym you see. It amazes me how fit people are who do yoga, then it’s like a whole happy mood they are in. I have heard that it’s not just an exercise but a whole lifestyle, I believe it. As more and more people turn to Yoga, maybe we can get ready to see a more happy and peaceful society?
