Often when you think of plastic surgery you usually only think of women. It’s quite a rarity to think of a plastic surgery technique exclusively for men. After all what would they want to get done. Well a growing number of men are looking into Abdominal Etching or the “no work six pack”.
The procedure has been around for a while but has started to get more publicity lately. I guess more guys are getting it now. It’s a type of liposuction for the abs that takes about 1 or two hours to have the procedure done. The way it work is the fat between the patient and the abdominals are sucked out. This leaves the look of six pack abs. With someone who is already in pretty good physical shape (only lacking the six pack definition) this seems like it could work out. But I have seen photos and the look of “man boobs” and a six pack and its not as great as you can imagine.
To get the procedure you have to have one to two inches of pinchable fat on your tummy. It has its share of possible complications and pain. But for those who want the look that means nothing (as in most plastic surgery cases).
As beauty and physique becomes more important I am sure it will become as common as a nose or boob job.
