… says a recently released government-funded study in New York. This is based on trends of the past thirty years. Sounds impossible? Probably is. But researchers say that even if actual rate doesn’t reach 100%, it is still alarming if the rate continues to increase for at present, two-thirds of Americans are already overweight. Past trends definitely show that the rate of overweight Americans are continually increasing and there is higher chance it will continue to increase than decrease.
Aside from weight, health care costs related to weight problems are expected to rise as well, doubling each decade. Scary? Definitely not something to look forward to, unless we start to change unhealthy eating habits as well as the unhealthy eating habits of our families. Read more about the study here.
